Morgan Ray Haerr is an accomplished British International Dressage rider and the 2024 National Young Rider Champion. Based in North Wales, she competes for Great Britain at the FEI International level and is a member of the British Dressage National Academy.

The Inter2 at Vale View was such a blast! Not our cleanest test by any means, plenty of mistakes made and lots of lessons learned, but that’s how we grow😁

The rain absolutely poured and I definitely looked soaked, but underneath I was completely dry 🙌🤩 My @equidryuk white waterproof breeches seriously did their job keeping my legs bone dry, comfortable and focused on riding, not the weather☔️Total game changer on days like this😅

Our first U25 Grand Prix together and hopefully the first of many🩷
Not a perfect test with plenty of little mistakes, but we got all our changes, which felt like a small miracle after recent training 🤣we managed to score 66.92% which is awesome for our first go! I’m so proud of Mr. Grolsch and how he tried for me today🥹🤩

Completed my first Inter II ❤️
So proud of my big dino today🦕
First competition of 2026 too! He felt like a slug in jam (as @ninaboex would say 😅), but he still looked pretty cute🥹The test was definitely littered with mistakes, but we somehow managed a 62% which isn’t too bad for our first go! Can’t wait to do a few more and then play with our PSG music tests🤭 Super pleased with my handsome man ✨

I’m so grateful for their continued support throughout my journey with the horses, both online and in person, they’re always there when we need them.

Gonna be honest with you guys, I was pretty gutted with myself today, i definitely let boss down🥲
I started getting annoyed during my test as small mistakes crept in, and he just didn’t feel as good as I know he can in both the warm-up and the test. But after watching the videos back, he actually looked flipping incredible🙈 We had our best trot work to date, scoring 70% before we even got to the walk and canter parts (Stupid rider moment🤦‍♀️)
We ended up with a 67+% and some really lovely comments from the judges about Boss🫶So yeah, I feel a bit silly for thinking our test was a disaster.
so the lesson of the day is, just because it feels bad, doesn’t always mean it looked bad❤️

As you guys can tell, the prize giving is his favourite part of any show😅🫶
He felt amazing today, even if the score wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for (66.6%) I’m still kinda kicking myself for forgetting how to count to 4 and accidentally putting in an extra 5🫣You’d think I’d have learned my lesson after last week’s CDI… clearly not!🤦‍♀️

Addington CDI update🇬🇧🥰 (a very late one, sorry!)

We had a really good weekend, full of mixed emotions. Our scores weren’t the best, but considering we haven’t been out together in months, I’m slowly learning to be fairer on us. Boss felt and looked amazing🤩of course there were bits to improve on each day, but he was SO happy and excited to be at a big pony party again🥹❤️he was piaffing and cantering between arenas (thanks @eq._issy_ for always hanging on to us! you’re the best top groom🫶)

I’m absolutely gutted tell everyone that we will not be going to Lier with Boss man, but ultimately, his welfare has to be the top priority🤎He’s doing better now, but it wouldn’t be fair to take him without the proper preparation, especially as we would’ve been travelling internationally. I don’t want to let him down or anyone else down, so after careful consideration, we’ve made the tough decision to withdraw from the competition. OVER THE MOON with jack man today🖤
As some of you may know already, Jack doesn’t have much experience with competing, especially in big arenas with flowers and banners 😅 so for him to keep his cool today and trot around like a pro was amazing! He did have a little spook at the start, but he quickly got back on track and continued like a champ 😎. We scored a 66.67%, which in all honesty I thought was a tad bit harsh given how lovely the rest of the test felt and looked (at least one judge gave us 68%💪)but hey, it is what it is! Still super proud of my little man for trying his best🥰

Double win for Mr Jack Jack🥇🥇

This was Jacks second ever competition (first one with me) and he absolutely smashed it! We took him to @kelsallhill for their unaffiliated class and we competed in the prelim & novice. We managed to score a 70+% in the prelim & 74+% in the novice🤩obviously the tests had some mistakes but i was SO proud of this horse, he didn’t put a foot wrong and was on his best behaviour the whole time🥹

Madi Mai Haerr

Madison "Madi" Mai Haerr is an international dressage rider representing Great Britain and the younger sister of 2024 National Young Rider Champion Morgan Ray Haerr. Based in North Wales, she is a member of the British Dressage Youth squads and competes at the FEI International level.

Career Achievements

European Championships Reserve: Selected as the 1st reserve for the 2024 European Pony Championships in Belgium and the 2025 European Championships.
CDI Wellington Winner (2024): Won the FEI Pony Individual class at the Wellington CDI with a score of 69.90%.
Winter Area Festival Champion (2026): Recently won the FEI Prix St Georges Silver title at the Aintree Winter Area Festival riding Floran.
Regional Success: Represented Wales in the Youth Home Nations, winning the FEI Pony tests overall and placing second with the Welsh team.

Notable Horses

Floran: Her current top mount for Junior and Prix St Georges (PSG) levels; she took over the ride from her sister Morgan in 2025.
Machno Excalibur: The pony with which she achieved her 2024 international success.
Rosewater Rockstar: Competed successfully at Medium level and in Youth Home Nations events.

Background & Education

Madi began her equestrian career in eventing and show jumping, winning the Area 5 Cheshire Shield twice before specialising in dressage. At age 16 (as of late 2025), she transitioned to the Junior level while studying for A-Levels in Business, Psychology, and Sport. Along with Morgan, she operates Haerr Equestrians in Llanrwst.

Herbie and I did our first advanced together 💪🎉
He has taught me so much over the season and I’m so glad I have the opportunity to go up the levels with him 🫶
He was slightly tense in our test as he missed his friend which lost us a few marks. And also my ability to count to 3 and 4 seemed to be a struggle 🤦‍♀️🤪
But overall it was a success first outing at this level as we gained a respectable 67% 🥇

Our first time practicing the higher moves for our first Advanced test. Herbie definitely enjoys going up the levels as pirouettes are his favourite move 🤪🫶
However to train at a high level it is vital that Herbie gets all the correct nutrients from his feed to fuel his training and competing. Thanks to @thepurefeedcompany Herbie is able to feel and look his best even at the ‘young age of 19’🫶 We feed Herbie the Performance mix as competition days demand more. Herbie and I enjoyed our time at the final European selection this year in the junior class 💪
The team test wasn’t our best work as Herbie felt like ‘a slug in jam’ 🍓😂 and lacked a bit of power, however the individual test went much better and we managed to gain 68.8% to finish second 🥈😁

Super pleased with Herbie today in our first junior freestyle together, although there were technical issues with the music stopping and restarting mid test we still managed to hit 71%+ in a very strong class 🤩

Team and individual tests 🇬🇧
Herbie was such a good boy at our first international together. 🫶 The tests got better each day as we worked on the improvement comments from the judges and I also rode more accurately as the week went on🥴😁. We had a respectable 66% on the first test and a 68% on the second which put us in 3rd place 🥉💪.

Overall I’m super happy with our results and enjoy our time @addingtonequestrian 🌟Thank you so much to the selectors for this opportunity and my team around me for the endless support 🫶🫶

Super time spent at the U21 training camp with Herbie🇬🇧💪
There were many different sessions over the camp from vet, physio, saddler, trot up training with Dan Chapman, test riding and training with Peter Store 💫 And also rider psychology and media sessions

Herbie and I did our first tests together today and he was such a good boy 🤩We won both tests with 70% in the Advanced Medium 5 and 71% in the Advanced Medium 6, still lots to work on but looking forward for Arena UK 💪

Our memories will last a lifetime time 🥺
We said goodbye to the best pony in the world yesterday as he starts his new adventures with @dressage_with_ever
I’ve never met such a genuine pony in my life. Scally was 110% a one in a million pony and had the kindest personality ever. He loved a big pony party when competing internationally but at the same time was able to have a blast on the beach like a true welsh pony 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💪He really is a girls best friend and will be forever missed ❤️‍🩹This post is one of the saddles yet happiest post as my best friend leaves form our short year spent together to star his new journey ahead making Iona proud ❤️
Words truly cant describe my love for scally as he was definitely the best dancing partner and alsways put a smile on my face💃
I will be forever grateful for the opportunities scally gave me from being reserve for the pony Europeans in Belgium to winning Wellington CDI with 70%+ however none of my dreams would have become a reality if @charlottethomasdressage haddent have put us in touch with the wonderful sclater family. Thank you so much @hetty.sclater and @aliciasclater_eventing for letting me be a part of Scallys special journey. And to @laura_f_parkes for the many lessons and support over the season and also to my parents and team at home for all the hard work put in to make these things possible💪🫶 I wish Ever the best of luck on her new journey with Scally as im sure may good thinks are in the near future for this new partnership ❤️

He was such a good boy as we haven’t been out in a while however I made quite a few satnav mistakes and didn’t ride the correct movements, which meant we had a couple of 0s in our test sheet. 🤦‍♀️😂 On the plus side the rest of the test was great and just need to do some more practice before our next comp 💪
